Pixeleye
At PixelEye, we don’t just work with clients—we often treat the agency itself as a client, allowing us to push creative boundaries and bring our own ideas to life. Over my two years (and counting) with this incredible team, I’ve worked on countless projects, but two that stand out are the Imivugo Series and the Trends Tense.
Date
February 2023 - Present
Imivugo Series
This series is a platform created by PixelEye to give creatives from Rwanda and around the world a space to express themselves, share knowledge, and inspire others through storytelling. It features experts across various fields, including music, art, writing, film, comedy, culture, design, PR, and branding. My role in the project involves curating interview questions, reaching out to and interviewing guests, and crafting post-shoot content for our social media platforms.
Outcomes
-
The series garnered over 5,000 likes and 100,000 views across our social media platforms in just 11 episodes
-
Featured renowned creatives from a diverse range of expertise such as Meddy Saleh, Serrah Galos, Sam Mironko, Ngabo King, and many more.
-
Successfully positioned PixelEye as a leading agency nurturing creativity, sharing impactful narratives, and empowering audiences through inspiring stories.
Trends Tense
In 2023, a friend of PixelEye approached us with a simple request: to find out what trends were capturing Rwandans' attention at the time. With collective effort, Trends Tense was born—a fun and engaging weekly recap of the internet’s biggest buzz. We didn’t stop there, though. We dove deeper, analyzing how brands and individuals communicate online, and brought it all to life with bold, thought-provoking illustrations and cheeky captions.
When it comes to creating Trends Tense, I’m hands-on throughout the entire process—from shaping the creative direction for each illustration to crafting the titles for every story and writing their captions.
Outcomes
-
Since 2023, we’ve produced over 100 editions.
-
Each edition reaches around 8,000 accounts every week and averages 200 likes per post
-
Transformed Trends Tense into the go-to source for the hottest trends in the country and beyond.

I dig deep to find insights, trends, and examples that inform and inspire my work.
Feedback
I review input, make adjustments, and sharpen the work to ensure it hits the mark.
Outlining
I break down the project into a clear, step-by-step plan for smooth execution.
Final Polish
I polish every detail and deliver a piece that’s ready to make an impact.
